Description
This is a genuine Natural Sulemani Agate (Aqeeq/Hakik) sourced from Iran, weighing a substantial 64.07 carats and hand-cut into a large oval cabochon. The front face pairs a deep black upper zone against a pale, frosted-white lower field, with a cluster of rounded orbicular “bubble” shapes in cream, gold, and near-black tones sitting right at the color boundary — a distinctive spherulitic texture that agate collectors specifically seek out. A fine reddish-orange banded stripe runs along one edge, adding a final accent of color.
Flip the stone over, and the character changes entirely: the reverse face reveals a warm cascade of amber, burnt orange, and deep burgundy, patterned with the same rounded orbicular bubbles nested concentrically within one another — like a sunset broken into layered rings. This orbicular texture, formed as mineral-rich silica deposited in rounded pockets during the agate’s slow crystallization, appearing on both faces of a single stone is a genuinely uncommon find.
As part of the broader Sulemani Aqeeq tradition, this stone carries the long-standing cultural and spiritual associations of protection, grounding, and inner strength found across the Middle East and South Asia. The cabochon has been expertly hand-cut and polished to a smooth, glossy finish, preserving both natural faces perfectly intact.
Given its size and the strength of its two-sided pattern, this piece is well suited to a statement pendant, a display specimen, or the centerpiece of a serious collection.
